It then leads intoplanning the audit and performing riskassessment. The syllabus thencovers a range of areas relating to anaudit of financial statements includingthe scope of internal control and therole and function of internal audit.These include, evaluating internalcontrols, audit evidence, and a reviewof the financial statements. Inaddition to final review procedures,the final section concentrates onreporting, including the form and content of the independent auditor’sreport.
